Rebecca Mattson brings large-scale project management skills and a strong analytical focus to RPC. She spearheaded the $243 million acquisition of the Government Center Garage in 2007, and is now managing permitting and redevelopment efforts for the project. Prior to the Garage, she managed the design and successful designation efforts for the Greenway Center project.
In proir years, Ms. Mattson served as project manager for Trinity Place, taking the 18 story luxury residential project through pre-construction, design, marketing, construction and ultimate completion, opening the $71 million project on schedule in July 2000. She also served as a project manager at Turner Hill, managing the mansion renovation and clubhouse addition, golf course construction, roads and infrastructure, and overseeing the residential financing for the project.
Prior to joining RPC in 1996, Ms. Mattson spent four years on the development team for TD Banknorth Garden, Boston's $160 million sports arena which opened in 1995. The in-house development team collectively managed permitting, financing, design and construction for the new facility.
Ms. Mattson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of City Planning degree concurrently from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992. While at MIT, she worked for three years at BayBank (now Bank of America) in Commercial Real Estate Lending.
