Ronald Hayes rejoined Raymond Property Company in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hayes has over 50 years of experience in real estate finance, development, property management, construction and accounting.
Prior to working at Raymond Property Company, Mr. Hayes was the Vice President, Finance for five years at Nu-Stone Surfacing, Inc., a specialty contractor, where he was responsible for accounting and project cost reporting systems, bank and bonding relationships, cash management, employee benefits, insurance and general administrative activities.
In his previous five year tenure with the Raymond Group in the Charlestown Navy Yard as the Senior Vice President and Treasurer, Mr. Hayes’ duties included overseeing and organizing new corporate support functions, implementing accounting, reporting, cash planning, budgeting, and control procedures for operating properties, and implementing and managing RPC employee benefits. He also negotiated and administered financing for the $105 million Flagship Wharf project.
From 1971 to 1986, Mr. Hayes was Vice President and Treasurer for Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, a national real estate developer based in Boston, and also for Cabot’s general contractor subsidiary Aberthaw Construction Co.
Mr. Hayes graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a gold medal winner on the CPA examination.
