St. Paul Crossing is a 49-unit condominium project located in Brookline, MA. The condominium offers easy access to shopping, restaurants, schools, and recreation and is only a five-minute commute to the Longwood Medical Area or ten minutes to downtown Boston.
Designed by award-winning Elkus/Manfredi Architects, St. Paul Crossing includes six town homes, six duplexes, and 37 one, two, and three-bedroom flats. The complex also includes 86 indoor and outdoor parking spaces. The buildings were designed to compliment the Queen Anne/Shingle style homes in the adjacent neighborhood.
The project is the result of the assemblage of six underutilized parcels into a single property. Permitting required substantial zoning relief, including variances for height and density. Through a cooperative process involving over 35 neighborhood and public meetings, RPC generated community support and won endorsement from both the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
